You have started playing CryptoRoyale but you are not winning as much as you’d like and you don’t know why?

In this guide I will focus on how you can improve your gameplay, dos and don’ts etc, so you can be more successful at this unique Free2Play, Play2Earn game and maximize your daily rewards, just by playing!

Without further ado, let’s get into the meat of the game by going through strategies, dos & don’ts, tips & tricks, in no particular order:

1. Use your boosts mindfully and never get critical: Each boost by clicking left-mouse button or TAB key depletes your HP so you must consider the pros and cons of each one. Getting critical make you an easy target and almost always guarantees a loss, why you want to avoid it at all costs.Which brings us to number 2.
2. Do not launch an “all out” attack on an enemy if you are not 100% sure you can finish them off. Failing to kill an enemy can leave you stranded or worse, in critical HP.
3. Just like your enemies dodge some attacks, you need to practice dodging a lot and become a master at it. A timely dodge can win you a game.
4. Coming back to attack: You always, I stress it, always want to attack when you have a favourable colour to your enemy. Boosting while having same colour can easily put you at an disadvantage by the time you reach your target.
5. Attack is an essential part of the game so we will stay on this topic: What can you do if the enemy has the advantage or you don’t have enough HP to risk an attack if both of you have same colour? You have 2 solutions for this: You either wait it out, trying to win time in order to get a random pip spawn OR better yet, the way I recommend is try and reach the nearest pip. Taking a pip will most likely spawn another one and you can make a path by collecting them in order, while avoiding the enemy. Make sure to stop when you reach an advantageous colour/an advantageous position with both of you having same colour.
6. Speaking of pips: You have to process every instance of the board separately depending on pip generation.If you take one or your opponent does, the game changes. New attack venues arise and old ones disappear. Ideally you want to re-asses the board situation after every pip disappearance/spawn.
7. As a general rule, you want to take pips/force your enemy to take one only when at a disadvantage. There is no benefit in taking one or forcing your opponent to do so when you are leading.
8. So how do you finish an enemy when leading? First, you need to keep the attack angle between yourself and your opponent as small as possible. Relaxing or permitting them to create a bigger angle can give them the necessary leverage to dodge your attack, take a pip or escape death.
9. Speed is important but it is not everything. Crypto Royale is mainly a brain game, similar to chess. Think 2–3 moves ahead of your opponent and you can out-smart them and compensate for your lack of speed if you do not have a very high refresh rate monitor for example.
10. Do not bump into an enemy for no reason. Ideally, you want to take as many pips as possible until you have a definitive advantage on the board. Bumping too early will deviate you from your ideal path which is towards pips and not towards enemies.
11. Speaking of speed, another point you have to clearly understand is that chasing an enemy never ends well. No matter the advantage you possess, chasing someone will put you behind and negate the advantage gained before.
12. Think outside of the box: Who is your enemy? What’s his playstyle? What does he expect? Is he faster than you? Can you dodge them or maybe you shouldn’t even try and take another approach ? Every bit of information matters.
13. A special case for attacking even at a disadvantage is if you are fast enough and you can reach a random pip spawn right after it spawns near your enemy. By doing this you can twarth their plans and strategy, taking an essential pip from under their noses and maybe even get an advantage if the colour is favourable to you.
14. Always put pressure on the lowest HP enemy.
